I was born in Adana, Turkey, on 2 June 1967. My facination with mathematics began with Yusuf  Ünlü when I was started  to Çukurova University in 1989. I obtained a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Çukurova University, Adana in 1993 and a Ph.D. from University of St. Andrews, Scotland in 1998. My advisors are Prof. Nik Ruskuc , Dr. J. J. O'Connor and Dr. C. M. Campbell . For more details please take a look at my Curriculum Vitae . My Erdös Number is 3, as a result of a joint paper with J. M. Howie . My research areas are Combinatrial semigroup and group theories, in particular semigroup presentations; computational methods in algebra; automatic structures; transformation semigroups.
